Wil Clarey is a 13-year-old boy on the autism spectrum.
At the beginning of his adventures, he is being raised by his single mom in Southern California.
When his mom gets a promotion, his world turns upside-down.
She must travel for the summer so he has to stay at his grandparents,
on a farm,
on the other side of the country.
Book One – The Impossible Summer follows Wil to the farm in Virginia.
He jumps right into adventure coming face to face with a 2000 pound bull.
Even more terrifying is meeting the daughter of the Bull’s owner.
13-year-old Hannah helps introduce Wil to country life and shares some of Wil’s crazy adventures that eventually land him on the Today Show in New York City.
Throughout this summer of a lifetime, Wil struggles with life on the autism spectrum experiencing both victories and set backs.
In the end he learns more about himself and others and shares what he has learned with the world.
At the time of this writing (October 2025) Book One is complete except some final editing.

Book Three – Mystery at the Mill is in rough draft awaiting the beginning of editing.
Books 4 and 5 are currently ideas bouncing around the author’s head.

If you want to read more, please CONTACT ME as I am still in need of beta readers, especially in the 10 to 14 year old range, though adults are welcome to become beta readers.
The current plan is to begin releasing these books sometime in 2028, though if a traditional publisher came along with an amazing offer before then, who knows…
